Why Westerbridge Education?
Westerbridge was founded by international academic Dr. Caroline Whitfield PhD, MBA, MA (Hons) (Oxford, INSEAD, Stanford, Strathclyde) who gathered a team of global subject experts in PhD and Master's admissions.
The inspiration for Westerbridge came from Dr. Whitfield’s experience of mentoring international students and hearing multiple stories of their difficulties in finding trustworthy advice in a sea of chaotic information: where to go, what to study and how to navigate the changing visa and funding difficulties. Trust in advisors was often misplaced and compromised advice too common. The absence of an
international study abroad organisation with a central value of trustworthiness above all else, led her to create one.
